What’s up, Dividend Investor!

Have you ever looked at a stock price and immediately thought: “Oh man, that’s WAY too expensive!!”?

Or, maybe you can’t bring yourself to pay $1,831.25 for a share of Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG).

You might say, ” Why pay $1,800 for a share of Chipotle when AT&T (T) is only $15?”

There are many factors that influence share prices like earnings, profitability, debt, and shares outstanding.

But, thankfully nowadays, we have a secret weapon to add to our arsenal of building wealth…

Commission-free trades and fractional shares.

I guess that’s actually two secret weapons, both of which probably aren’t even that secret anymore.

Anyways….

The point is not to forget that whether you buy a full share of CMG or $5, you still get to participate in the exact upside or downside and dividend yield (if there is one).

Look at that CMG chart above again.

CMG has increased 33.56% since January 3rd, 2023.

Sure, if you had bought $5 on 1/3/23, you’d own 0.36% of a share, but you’d have the exact same 33.56% gain on your investment.

The only downside to fractional shares that I can think of is it’s the brokerage that makes this a possibility.

It’s Schwab that will hold the full share and break it apart into fractions for you to “own”.

This is why if you want to move from Robinhood to Schwab, anything less than a full share will be converted to cash.

So quite literally, the absolute BEST stock under $10 is virtually ANYTHING you can buy fractional shares of which you think is a GREAT investment.

Clever, right?

Or is this a clickbait title?

I don’t know, but we’re going to roll with it!

I’d love to know if you thought this was clickbait and what your last fractional stock buy was HERE.

😁Special THANK YOU to the (6) people who responded to my last newsletter!!

With that being said, let’s get to the moves made this week. And remember, you can always check out the PORTFOLIOS, the PODCAST, or see what’s cooking on the YouTube channel.
